Office Visits
Due to new guidelines set by Public Health, Ministry of Health, RCDSO, and CDHO, we are experiencing longer than usual wait times for appointments. In order for our office to continue to provide the quality of care our existing patients have grown accustomed to, we are unable to accept any new patients at this time.
When some of the government-imposed restrictions have been lifted, we hope that wait times will improve and we can resume seeing new patients. In the meantime, if you wish to be added to our waitlist, please let us know and we will be happy to contact you when space comes available.
Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, and high-quality dental care. We understand that you or your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while we provide the best possible care.
Your first visit is all about you: your comfort, your happiness, and your health
During your first visit, we will review your dental and medical history forms, and take X-rays of your teeth. We will then proceed with a comprehensive oral exam, to document any previous dental work you may have completed. Measurements will be taken of your gums to diagnose your periodontal health.
At that time, Dr. Park or Dr. Albert will meet with you to discuss your X-rays, check your teeth and gums for cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis. The doctor will review the findings of the exam with you and help you understand your individual treatment plan. Our team will answer any questions you may have.
At your next visit, one of our hygienists will clean and polish your teeth.
Bring your smile, but also remember to bring these to your first appointment
- Your insurance benefit card
- A list of any medications you are taking
Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile!
The Canadian Dental Association recommends a visit to your dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep your teeth and gums healthy.
We understand you have a busy schedule, so when you’re preparing to visit our office, please remember your appointments can last between 45 and 90 minutes.
